Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support multiple manufacturing facilities in the Circle Pines and Forest Lake area. You will maintain and repair over 60 injection molding presses and related equipment to ensure safe, efficient production across sites.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with injection molding equipment, electrical troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance, plus the ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience maintaining injection molding equipment and presses.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in PLCs, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, Pneumatics.
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues independently.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace motors, valves, pumps, sensors, and other components.

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support multiple manufacturing facilities in the Circle Pines and Forest Lake area. What You'll Do

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot 60+ injection molding presses and associated manufacturing equipment across multiple facilities.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform repairs and replacements on motors, valves, pumps, sensors, and other machine components.
• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase electrical systems, including breakers, controls, and related components.
• Perform PLC troubleshooting to identify and correct machine control issues.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and production efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Support facility maintenance needs, including basic HVAC-related maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment status to operations and leadership teams.
• Prioritize and manage maintenance activities across multiple buildings and manufacturing areas.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience maintaining injection molding equipment and presses.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in at least three of the following areas:
• PLCs
• Electrical systems
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics
• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues independently.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on industrial machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional experience with injection molding processes and manufacturing operations.
• Facility maintenance experience, including HVAC support.
• Familiarity with industrial PLC controls and automation systems.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations while managing competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Work Environment

This position supports multiple manufacturing buildings across two local campuses. Work is performed in a production and maintenance setting and involves servicing injection molding equipment, facility systems, and related machinery.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

Start Time: 6:00 AM - 7:00 AM

End Time: 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Technicians are provided with the tools and equipment needed to perform their work safely and effectively. Candidates should be comfortable working throughout production areas while following all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

This is a Permanent position based out of Blaine, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $76960.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
