Job summary

LiquidPower Specialty Products Inc. (LSPI) is seeking an Equipment Project Engineer to support the injection equipment program through design and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role provides technical input on operability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, with guidance from the Manager, Equipment Services. You will manage projects, train field teams, troubleshoot, and ensure compliance with UL, OSHA, ATEX, and CSA standards while coordinating with suppliers and fabricators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related work experience including PLC programming.
• Willingness to travel 5-15% for site work and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage injection equipment continuous improvement projects meeting ISO quality standards.
• Promote safety of manufacture and operation of injection equipment.
• Provide engineering support for injection equipment program including training Field Service Representatives.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in equipment manufacturing and field operations.
• Ensure equipment complies with UL, OSHA, ATEX and CSA standards.
• Ensure all fabricated/refurbished skids have proper certifications prior to shipment.
• Create and maintain injection equipment procedures and technical documentation.
• Assist in managing injection equipment capital spend.
• Provide injection equipment training to new hires and other LSPI staff.
• Manage equipment design control and equipment MOC processes and projects.
