Urbanex Pest Control in Austin is seeking an Initial Service Technician. This role requires no prior experience as training is fully paid, including the state certification exam. You will be responsible for performing initial pest control treatments, servicing newly sold homes, and building rapport with new customers.
The position offers a company truck and fuel card, base pay of $3,000-$4,500 per month, health insurance, and opportunities for advancement to a Route Technician with a salary of $45K-$65K.
Pay: $3,000-$4,500 per month (base + performance bonuses)

No pest control experience required. We'll train you, pay for your state certification, and put you in a company truck. If you show up, work hard, and take care of customers, you can be promoted to a Route Technician earning $45K-$65K.
Perform initial pest control treatments for new customers – the first visit that sets up ongoing service. You'll run a route servicing newly sold homes each day, deliver quality work, and build trust with homeowners.
6‑day work week, Monday‑Saturday. Shifts start around 11 AM and run until the route is finished – typically 8‑10 hours, longer in peak season. Longer routes mean more stops, which means more pay. After you earn your promotion to a Route Technician, it is a 5‑day work week with more normal hours (7 AM until route completed, typically around 5 PM).
