Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Alameda County seeks caregivers to support neurodivergent and special needs children aged 3–17. You’ll foster social and communication skills, assist developmental milestones through play, and create safe, engaging learning environments.

Your Role:

• Encourage social and communication skills in children ages 3–17.
• Support developmental milestones through play and structured activities.
• Create safe, engaging environments for learning and exploration.
• Provide consistent care that promotes independence and confidence.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting children with special needs.
• Any experience will be considered, professional experience such as ABA therapists, special education, behavior technicians, DSPs, and more are encouraged to apply
• Availability Weekday Afternoons and Evenings and/or Weekends.
• Strong communication skills and compassionate approach.
• Reliable transportation
• Minimum age: 18; High school diploma or GED required.

Pay Range: $22–$25 per hour
