Job summary

Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is hiring Home Care Caregivers to serve Oconto and the surrounding communities. We offer day, evening, and overnight shifts with full-time and part-time options, plus comprehensive training and a supportive team environment.

You’ll provide one-on-one care to help seniors stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes, delivering companionship, dignity, and peace of mind to clients and families every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Willing to pass a background check and demonstrate a compassionate, dependable, professional attitude.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Paid training provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to help seniors remain safe and independent.
• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Support mobility and fall prevention.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Care Caregiver, you’ll provide compassionate, one-on-one support that enhances each client’s quality of life while promoting safety, independence, and dignity.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living

• Care for individuals living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, and other age-related conditions

• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families
