Job summary

Diamond Pet Foods in Rushville, IN is seeking a Receiving Technician to manage incoming ingredients, document weights, and maintain running inventories to support production readiness.

Responsibilities include testing of ingredients, operating a forklift, following GMP and SOPs, and collaborating with a safety-minded team. Overtime is mandatory, and you will contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant facility every shift.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, sit, and walk for long periods (up to 75% of shift).
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds routinely.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders to high elevations.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Receive ingredients and document weights; maintain running inventories.
• Follow proper testing protocols for incoming ingredients and verify specifications.
• Operate forklift to move material on site; keep area safe and clean.
• Maintain GMP and SOP compliance; report safety hazards to Shift Supervisor.
• Overtime is required and participation is mandatory.
