Job summary

United Petfood is seeking a Bulk Receiving Technician in Mishawaka, IN to handle the intake of raw ingredients, verify loads meet specs, and manage unloading using yard equipment. You will complete all required paperwork and ensure compliance with Food Safety standards.

The role requires operating a yard dog, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. You will work with the production team to support timely unloading and maintain GMP standards on site.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate yard dog including hooking and unhooking procedures.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and understand English; able to prepare documentation.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard dog to move loaded trailers to bulk unloading pit.
• Weigh and sample loads per raw material specs.
• Complete load receipt and weight documentation for QA and Operations.
• Unload materials to plant locations to meet production schedules.
• Maintain GMP standards and keep unloading dock clean.
