Schreiber Foods is hiring for a Manufacturing & Operations role in Beloit, WI. The position runs 6am–6:30pm with a 2-2-3 rotation, requiring adherence to food safety, batching, and GMP procedures.

The role involves weighing ingredients, reading batching sheets, allergen awareness, RF scanner use, and operating forklifts to move product. Strong math and communication skills are valued, with weekend/overtime availability encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1–3 years in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must complete and pass Wonderlic test.

Responsibilities

• Read batching sheets and weigh ingredients per specs.
• Identify allergens and ingredients.
• Operate forklift to move products from freezer or fridge to blending area.
• Maintain GMP and keep a clean work area.
• Collaborate with blending position; perform other duties as needed.
• Follow internal policies and safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:

This is a 6am-6:30pm position with a 2-2-3 rotation. A Crew

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must adhere to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies.

• Weigh out ingredients for current and future production needs.

• Accurately read batching sheets and prioritize weigh out needs according to the customer and internal specifications.

• Identify different ingredients including differences in allergens and non-allergens.

• Proper procedures utilizing the HIVE, including scanning all pallets, ingredients, and kitting rooms

• Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.

• Using a forklift, retrieve product from the freezer or refrigerator, and bring to Blending as needed.

• Must maintain a clean working area and follow all GMP's

• This position works closely and often interchangeably with the Blending position. Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested

• Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity, etc.

• Other duties at the discretion of Management/Supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

• Good math skills a plus

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Ability to use RF Scanner/scan gun

• Dependable

• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Ability to Safely operate material handling equipment, i.e. Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc. a plus

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree, preferred

• 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred

• Must be able to complete and pass required Wonderlic test
