Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Quality Engineer (Ingot) in Cartersville, GA to lead incoming inspections, product line patrol, and outbound quality control while updating internal quality rules. You will work within manufacturing timelines and ensure compliance with high industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience.
• Excellent logic and analytical abilities.
• Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to cope with fast-paced work environment in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, both verbally and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and quality tests to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze production processes and product designs to identify and address quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality standards and procedures to uphold consistent product quality.
• Collect and analyze quality-related data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to resolve quality issues.
• Participate in the design and implementation of quality control processes and systems.
• Provide training and support to quality & production staff to ensure understanding and compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to quality procedures and regulations.
• Manage raw materials’ quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on suppliers’ reports, yield, and each process quality.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Qcells.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
