Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated INGENIUM Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for implementation on the Ingenium platform. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance business processes and technical proficiency in the Ingenium system. Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach are essential.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the design, development, and enhancement of insurance and financial products.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, document, and implement solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements; translate them into system specifications.
• Document use cases and user stories; conduct functional testing.
• Identify test scenarios, prepare plans, and execute acceptance testing.
• Work with technical teams to implement system enhancements and process changes.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot production issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and client experience.
• Create and maintain system and manual procedures.
• Conduct systems training for the business community.
• Mentor and guide other resources to ensure knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with INGENIUM projects (implementation, upgrade, transformation, enhancement).
• Expert-level knowledge of INGENIUM architecture and development.
• Practical understanding of INGENIUM product functionality within business processes.
• Experience throughout the INGENIUM project lifecycle.
• Ability to deliver business outcomes through INGENIUM modifications.
• Familiarity with various INGENIUM versions (preferred).
• Pathfinder SME or functional experience (preferred).
• ProductXpress working-level experience.
• Hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, and AIX systems.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and programming skills.
• Familiarity with life insurance products.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, VSAM, REXX, CICS, MQ Series.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $84,100 to $156,100, influenced by experience and organizational factors. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, wellness programs, retirement plans, paid holidays, and time off.
