Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking an Infusion Staff RN for the Werner Treatment Center. This part-time role (0.6 FTE, 24 hours/week) covers the 3pm–11pm shift on second shift, with two weekend shifts per month.

As an Infusion Staff Nurse you will provide, coordinate, and monitor IV therapies and medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, compassionate treatment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility required.
• Current Nebraska RN license or compact state license required.
• BLS certification from an AHA endorsed program required.
• PALS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire or transfer date.
• TNCC or ATCN certification within 1 year or transfer date required.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate infusion nursing care.
• Administer IV therapies and medications and monitor patient responses.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
