Job summary

Galen Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN infusion coverage in the Infusion Lab in Cleveland. You will perform IV therapy, administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with providers to ensure high quality care.

The role requires 1–2 years IV therapy experience, a TN RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification. Responsibilities include vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy as needed, charting, and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• RN license active in TN (or compact state)
• BLS & ACLS certified at all times
• 1–2 years IV Therapy experience in outpatient setting
• Ability to document accurately and timely
• Strong patient education and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs
• Performs IV insertion, medication administration and infusion monitoring
• Monitors for adverse reactions and maintains tubing and dressings
• Performs EKGs, venipuncture and in-house lab procedures as needed
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA/OSHA policies
• Assists with clinical policies and equipment/resource management
