Job summary

Physicians' Clinic of Iowa in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a licensed RN for a full-time or part-time Infusion RN in our Rheumatology Department. The role delivers infusion care in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• Experience providing infusion treatment preferred.
• BLS certification required or obtainable within 60 days.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Strong commitment to patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures in a high-volume rheumatology setting.
• Prepare and administer injections and IV therapies.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments prior to and during each infusion.
• Educate patients on IV therapy and the infusion process.
• Prepare IV medications according to reconstitution protocols.
• Administer medications per manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist with clinical drug study infusions as needed.
• Complete prior authorizations for treatments and diagnostic testing.
• Screen calls for physicians and answer patient questions.
