Job summary

AO Multispecialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Rheumatology infusion team in Downtown Augusta, GA. The RN will administer IV therapies, monitor patients, and educate on treatment plans, while coordinating care with physicians and pharmacy.

The ideal candidate will have strong infusion skills, HIPAA-compliant practices, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Eligible for benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Active Georgia RN license and current BLS.
• Infusion nursing experience preferred; ability to handle infusion-related reactions.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed IV infusion therapies per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor vital signs before, during, and after treatment; observe for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of infusion administration and patient response in EMR.
• Coordinate with rheumatology team for treatment readiness and scheduling.
• Educate patients about therapy, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
