Fisher-Titus in Sandusky, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Nurse in Rheumatology. The RN Infusion Nurse assesses patients, administers physician-ordered biologic and infusion medications, monitors responses, and provides education and support to patients with rheumatologic conditions.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and BLS certification required.
• Infusion or rheumatology experience preferred.
• Strong IV therapy, assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and review laboratory results for treatment readiness.
• Prepare infusion medications and administer biologic/infusion therapies per protocol.
• Initiate and maintain IV access; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and staff to coordinate care.
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR.
• Support scheduling, prior authorizations, medication safety, and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment and respond to emergencies.
