Job summary

Providence Home Infusion is seeking a per-diem RN Clinician to provide infusion therapy nursing services and case management in Burbank, with support to Orange County as needed. You will collaborate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and payers, acting as a resource for infusion-related care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• California RN license at hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
• Home infusion and vascular access experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services for infusion therapy and case management.
• Collaborate with patient/caregiver, physician, and other health care providers.
• Act as a resource for patients with infusion needs.
• Support coverage primarily in Burbank with Orange County as needed.

Description

This is a per diem/on call position that will provide coverage primarily in Burbank but will support Orange County as needed.

As a RN Clinician the position provides direct nursing services and case management related to infusion therapy. This is accomplished through collaboration with the patient and/or caregiver, the physician, other health care providers and the payer. This position functions as a professional role model by demonstrating competency in all phases of the nursing process, collaborating with other health care workers to promote quality patient care, and acting as a resource for patients with infusion needs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.


• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License


• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association


• 1 year Acute care nursing


• Home infusion and vascular access experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training Infusion Nurse Society (CRNI)
