Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is hiring an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) at Duane Waters Healthcare Center in Jackson, Michigan, for a full-time role. The RN will administer infusion therapies, monitor patients, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

The ideal candidate has a Michigan RN license, at least 2 years in infusion or oncology, and proficiency with IV therapy, chemo infusions, and EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in chest port access and IV therapy administration.
• Experience with infusion therapies, oncology, or related field.
• Certification in Infusion Nursing (CRNI) or Oncology Nursing (OCN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy infusions and infusions twice weekly.
• Administer IV medications, hydration therapy, and injections.
• Monitor patients during infusion and manage adverse reactions.
• Perform venipuncture and manage IV lines, including central access.
• Document vital signs and therapies in the EHR.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home care.
