Job summary

Mercy Health's Paducah Cancer Center seeks an Infusion RN to deliver patient-centered care, administer chemotherapy, manage IVs, and support treatment plans across the patient lifespan.

Requires an RN with ADN/BSN, active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and oncology chemotherapy certification within 6 months; 1 year oncology/med-surg preferred; EPIC EHR experience; compassionate, team-oriented professional.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS preferred; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• Oncology chemotherapy certification required within 6 months of hire.
• One year of medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans; implement treatments and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer chemotherapy and start IVs; monitor patient responses.
• Maintain safe environment and promote education among nursing peers.
• Adapt to rapidly changing patient conditions with confidence.
• All duties as assigned.
