Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse for Infusion at Rappahannock General Hospital in Virginia. The RN will assess patients, implement nursing interventions, and manage chemotherapy administration within a diverse clinical team.

The role requires an Associate or Bachelor of Nursing, current RN licensure, and BLS; Oncology Chemotherapy certification is required within 6 months. Oncologic experience is preferred; EPIC EHR experience recommended.

Qualifications

• RN license current in state of practice.
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred at hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• ONS Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year medical/surgical or oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and develop care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy and other meds; manage IVs and blood products.
• Maintain safe, therapeutic environment and educate nursing peers.
• Support educational growth and teamwork across shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
