Job summary

Ventura County Hematology Oncology Specialists is hiring an Infusion RN to assess patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, and manage medical records. The role includes administering chemotherapy and coordinating with the care team to support patients with cancer and blood disorders.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s degree in nursing with California RN license, BLS/ACLS, and relevant oncology experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• California RN license required;
• BLS and/or ACLS certifications required;

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop nursing care plans.
• Maintain detailed patient medical records and documentation.
• Administer medications including chemotherapy; monitor reactions.
• Provide patient health maintenance guidance and disease prevention counseling.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments and assist as needed.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance during care.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
