Ochsner Health in Meridian, Mississippi seeks a Registered Nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. You will delegate, direct, and support licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license, BLS, and strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.

Responsabilités

• Use the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assess learning needs and tailor teaching strategies for patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources and act as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote practice improvements for better outcomes.
• Support patient privacy and adapt interactions to diverse populations.
• Perform other related duties as required.
