Job summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional infusion care across clinics. You will assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans while collaborating with physicians and the GI Alliance Research department.

Responsibilities include documenting care, maintaining patient confidentiality, and educating patients and families about health status and drug therapies. Per diem scheduling is available to cover infusion clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 3 years professional nursing experience.
• Minimum 1 year infusion experience in acute, outpatient, home or physician office setting.
• Gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient consent and maintains confidentiality.
• Administers medications via PO, IV, SC, IM and monitors response.
• Documents assessments and interventions in medical records.
• Maintains patient records, charts and medication inventory.
• Coordinates treatment plans and follows up with patients.
• Collaborates with the GI Alliance Research department as required.
