Job summary

McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Infusion to provide specialized infusion therapies, patient education, and collaborative care with physicians and the healthcare team.

The RN will perform venipuncture, manage IV lines, administer medications and blood products, and monitor patients for adverse reactions throughout the infusion process. A Kansas RN license and BLS are required, ACLS/PALS within 6 months with training provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required or equivalent.
• 1-2 years infusion therapy experience preferred.
• Active Kansas RN license; BLS within 6 months; ACLS/PALS within 6 months (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and IV line care.
• Administer medications, fluids, blood products via infusion.
• Monitor for adverse reactions during infusion.
• Assess patient health status before, during, and after infusions.
• Monitor vital signs and response to therapy.
• Document care in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about infusion therapy and at-home care.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare team.
• Communicate with patients, families, and the team
