Job summary

VIVO Infusion is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to join our Staten Island team. The RN will provide safe, effective patient care, administer medications by IV, monitor patients throughout infusion, and ensure accurate documentation in electronic records.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license, a nursing degree, CPR/BLS, and IV therapy experience; ONC and CRNI certifications are a plus, ICU/ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state professional nurse licensure, required.
• Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/Bachelor’s degree, required.
• ONC Certified, Preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification, required.
• Minimum of 1yr IV experience, required.
• Certification in specialty/CRNI (Certified RN Infusion), preferred.
• ICU/ED experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and attentive manner as related to their scope of practice.
• Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications, daily.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatment. Assist with managing and overseeing inventory and supply ordering.
• Document and report on patient assessments to medical staff and other healthcare team members on an ongoing basis.
• Skillful and accurate IV insertion.
• Communicate with providers via Telehealth, as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of CQI improvement activities.
• Perform admission and ongoing assessments on patients. Complete the daily run/flow sheet review on treatments as assigned.
