Job summary

Providence Health & Services’ PacMed Clinics is seeking an outpatient Infusion Nurse with Oncology expertise to administer chemotherapy, manage infusion therapy and blood products, and address pain and side effects. The role emphasizes patient-focused, whole-person care and collaborative practice.

You will work with port-a-caths and venous access devices, apply the nursing process in direct patient care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to respond to assessment findings and ensure

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or diploma.
• Washington RN license on hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association on hire.

The outpatient Infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Nursing degree/diploma.
• Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of Nursing.
• 2 years of Oncology experience.
