Job summary

PacMed Clinics is seeking a skilled Infusion Nurse with oncology and chemotherapy experience for a per diem role at our Seattle facilities. The nurse will apply the nursing process in direct patient care, coordinate the interdisciplinary team, and perform infusion therapies including blood products and port-a-cath management.

Washington RN licensure and BLS certification are required at hire, with Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Nursing degree/diploma and Washington RN License.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process in direct patient care.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary team interventions based on assessment findings.

The outpatient Infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Salary Details

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
