Job summary

Pacific Medical Centers is seeking an Infusion Nurse with Oncology expertise for our on-site clinic in Seattle. The role involves chemotherapy administration, handling Port-a-Caths and venous access devices, and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree or diploma and Washington RN licensure, with BLS certification required at hire. Oncology infusion experience is highly valued.

Job description

Description

The outpatient Infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Required Qualifications
  • Nursing degree/diploma
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of nursing experience
  • 2 years of oncology experience

The successful candidate’s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
