Job summary

Pacific Medical Centers seeks an experienced Infusion Nurse to support oncology patients with chemotherapy, infusion therapy, and blood product administration at our Seattle clinics. You will apply the nursing process and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing degree or diploma, Washington RN license, and BLS certification, with preferred oncology experience and chemotherapy administration skills.

Description


The outpatient Infusion nurse has knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, knowledge and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices. The infusion nurse applies the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinates the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Required Qualifications:



  • Nursing degree/diploma


  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License


  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree


  • Chemotherapy administration experience


  • 2 years of nursing experience


  • 2 years of oncology experience
