Job summary

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to supervise and administer infusion therapy at the New Lenox clinic in Illinois.

The role requires an IL RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least two years of RN office experience, preferably with infusion or chemo exposure. Benefits include comprehensive health plans and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have IL RN license and nursing degree.
• At least 2 years RN office practice, infusion experience preferred.
• Infusion experience; chemotherapy experience preferred.
• Vaccinations required, including boosters for immunocompromised patients.

Responsibilities

• Place peripheral lines and teach patients how to self-administer medications.
• Review daily labs and relay results to physicians/patients.
• Eprescribe prescriptions per doctor order and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Receive and return patient and other calls; schedule appointments as needed.
• Review EMR for next day appointments and ensure documentation for meaningful use.
• Respond to calls and meet patients in the office.
