Job summary

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to supervise and administer infusion therapy at the Jonesboro, GA clinic. The role emphasizes patient‑centered care, safe medication administration, and nursing standards adherence.

You will collaborate with physicians, review labs, and ensure safe infusion treatment in a busy specialty practice. Schedule is M-F, 8:30am–5pm, with generous benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current GA RN license.
• At least two years RN office practice experience, preferably in an infusion-related practice.
• Infusion experience; chemotherapy experience preferred.
• Vaccinations including measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis A & B, influenza, and COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Place peripheral lines and teach self-administration; document in Medical Record.
• Review daily lab results and communicate with physicians/patients as needed.
• E-prescribe per doctor’s order and coordinate with pharmacies.
• Answer patient calls and schedule office visits.
• Review EMR for next day’s appointments and ensure fields for meaningful use.
