Job summary

Unity Health Network, part of the Optum family, seeks an RN Infusion Nurse to join our Akron and Hudson teams. You'll oversee daily clinical care, administer infusions, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This role requires an Ohio RN license and ACLS, with at least 6 months of infusion experience. The position involves local travel to Hudson one day per week.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
• ACLS certification.
• Infusion experience (6+ months).
• Experience with prior authorizations for infusion medications is a plus.
• Competent with peripheral IVs and central line access.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in day-to-day clinical care of patients.
• Assesses, develops, implements and evaluates patient care per care delivery model.
• Communicates with patients, families, nursing staff and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides and documents procedures, medications, treatments and IV therapy.
• Interprets clinical data and shares pertinent information across shifts.
