Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Akron is seeking an RN Ambulatory - Infusion to join the Bath Health and Wellness Center. The role involves delivering professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting, coordinating patient care in collaboration with physicians and caregivers, and supporting a welcoming patient experience.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, provide education to patients and families, and travel within the region to support clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• ACLS Certification through AHA within six months of hire
• One year of RN/LPN or equivalent clinical experience if transferring within Cleveland Clinic ambulatory setting
• Cancer-specific certification or ongoing qualifying education for oncology/cancer clinic work

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.
• Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.
• Notify the physician or LIP of abnormal findings.
• Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and equipment.
• Develop and document health education for patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles within the department.
• Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures as needed.
