Job summary

VIVO Infusion in the Greater Cleveland area is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care during infusion treatments. Responsibilities include calculating and mixing medications, IV insertions, and monitoring patients before, during, and after therapy in compliance with HIPAA and regulations.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year IV experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN licensure is required.
• Graduate of accredited Nursing Associates/BSN program.
• ONC Certification preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year IV infusion experience required.
• CRNI certification preferred; ICU/ED experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in a consistent manner.
• Calculate, mix, and administer prescription medications daily.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Assist with inventory management and supply ordering.
• Document and report patient assessments to medical staff.
• Perform skillful IV insertions with accuracy.
• Communicate with providers via Telehealth as needed.
• Assist in CQI improvement activities.
• Perform admissions and daily treatment flow sheet reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Supervise assigned unlicensed direct patient care team.
• Ensure complete daily electronic charting documentation.
