Infusion Registered Nurse - Pueblo, CO (Part-time or PRN)

Join AleraCare as an Infusion Registered Nurse - Pueblo, CO (Part-time or PRN) at our Ambulatory Infusion Center in Pueblo, CO. We are seeking availability to work 2-3 days per week, Monday through Wednesday, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. AleraCare provides infusion treatments and specialty pharmacy services for high-need and medically complex populations. With over 30 infusion centers across 6 western states, we are expanding!

Position Summary:

The Infusion RN provides nursing care to assigned patients following their care plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clinical records for each patient receiving care.
  • Report patient progress and any changes to physicians.
  • Follow facility policies and procedures, including patient care protocols.
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop care plans.
  • Reassess patient conditions regularly and update care plans accordingly.
  • Provide specialized nursing services and preventive procedures.
  • Document clinical notes, coordinate services, and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and families about care and health management.
  • Ensure care is delivered per professional standards and legal requirements.
  • Participate in team conferences, quality improvement, and ongoing education.
  • Represent the facility professionally and perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience; infusion experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in record-keeping, internet, and email use.
  • Current CPR certification, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and health certification.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, speak, and hear regularly.
  • Use hands for operating equipment and vehicles.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustments.
