Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home nursing services to pediatric clients in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and agency policies. The RN provides skilled nursing care supported by a broad nursing theory base and works under the Clinical Supervisor. Reports To: Clinical Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) of practice.
• Proficient in infusion and IV medications, including starts and ports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with insured vehicle per state/agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for professional nursing practice following the state Nurse Practice Act and home health standards.
• Conduct physical assessments, including client admissions and reassessments, as directed by Clinical Supervisor.
• Report changes in client condition to medical practitioner and care team promptly.
• Contribute to development and adjustment of client care plans.
• Demonstrate nursing competency with infusions, injectables, and IV access.
• Respect individual, cultural, and spiritual differences per Agency policies.
• Promote safety, infection control, and continuous quality improvement in client care.
• Maintain confidentiality and ongoing professional development.

Job Summary

$37-$50 per hour

Hourly compensation is determined based on the reimbursement rate authorized by the individual client’s insurance plan and may vary by client and assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assume accountability for professional nursing practice, following the state Nurse Practice Act and home health standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.

• Proficient in various infusion and injectable medications, including peripheral intravenous (IV) starts and accessing infusion ports.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.
