Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician (Admixture) to join the team. The role includes preparing IV admixtures and chemotherapy, reviewing orders, and ensuring safety and accuracy across multiple facilities in Phoenix, AZ. Travel between locations is required.

Candidates should have 2+ years of pharmacy experience with sterile compounding, strong aseptic technique, and solid math skills. A accredited Pharmacy Technician training program is required.

Formación

• 2+ years of pharmacy experience, including sterile compounding (IV admixture and/or chemotherapy).
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and pharmaceutical terminology.
• Solid math and dosage calculation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and compound medications, including IV admixtures and chemotherapy, under supervision.
• Review medication orders for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
• Verify insurance approvals before preparing medications.
• Accurately calculate dosages and conversions (metric/apothecary systems).
• Maintain inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications.
• Keep detailed logs (temperature, controlled substances, protocol drugs, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety guidelines for medication handling and disposal.
• Clean and maintain sterile compounding environments (hoods, equipment).
• Stay current with new medications and protocols.
• Travel between locations as needed.

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician (Admixture) to join our team. This position will work in our Suprise office Monday/Tuesday and Friday, and in our Phoenix office Wednesday and Thursday.

• What You’ll Do:
