Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years IV room compounding experience including hazardous meds.
• Completion of appropriate training program; WA Pharmacy Technician license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile medications including hazardous drugs for administration.
• Procure medications, bio-technology products and related pharmacy items per protocols.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations and prepare sterile parenteral medications.
• Provide information for medications to billing staff as required by CMS and payers.
• Inspect inventories and manage backorders; coordinate returns of unused medications.
• Ensure compliance with Drug Supply Chain Security Act and related policies.
