Job summary

Amerita, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician - Production to join our Pharmacy team as we grow to be a top home infusion provider. The Technician will report to the Pharmacy Manager and work in our Apex, NC branch.

You will perform technical and clerical tasks for preparation, labeling and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, with emphasis on sterile compounding and adherence to USP 797/800 standards while supporting daily operations and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved/accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.
• IV certification preferred; state license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care activities with Pharmacists, Nurses, and Technicians.
• Prepare labels, prescriptions, and compounding worksheets; maintain lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Document temperature logs, sterility testing in the clean room per USP 797/800 and company policies.
• Assist in branch meetings and quality improvement activities.
• Schedule sterile preparations and home medical equipment orders with Pharmacist support.
• Adhere to accreditation, OSHA, FDA, and state/federal regulations.
