Inova Schar Infusion in Fairfax, VA is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join the team in a full-time role, with a Monday–Friday rotating shift and every other weekend. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years hospital experience as Pharmacy Technician.
• Virginia Registered Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy intern license; BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Calculates patient-specific doses from mg/m2 or mg/kg dosing.
• Manages IV admixture/chemotherapy supplies to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
• Initiates safe disposal of hazardous materials, sharps, and trash.
• Follows IV Admixture procedures using aseptic technique and maintains documentation.
• Prepares IV admixture and sterile compounding with minimal contamination.
