Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking an Infusion Pharmacy Technician for Schwarz Cancer Center in Carmel, IN. You will work under a licensed pharmacist to prepare, dispense, and distribute sterile medications for oncology patients in a fast-paced infusion setting.

Responsibilities include accurate dosing, aseptic technique, inventory management, and collaboration with pharmacists, nurses, and care teams to ensure timely medication delivery and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
• National pharmacy technician certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Ability to work in sterile compounding and hazardous drug environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound sterile medications, including chemotherapy, under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain aseptic technique in cleanroom environments and comply with USP standards.
• Manage inventory for infusion medications and maintain par levels.
• Deliver prepared medications to infusion clinics and coordinate with care teams.
• Support safety, quality improvement, and regulatory audits.
