Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking an Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support chemotherapy preparation, dispensing, and inventory management in oncology clinics.

You will work under licensed supervision, maintain Nucleus system proficiency, and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and safety guidelines. The role includes collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and suppliers, and may require travel to educational and research meetings.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification or registered as a pharmacy technician.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a clinical setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to educational and research meetings as well as training sessions.
• Valid State Driver's License for travel to clinics.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix chemotherapy drugs and solutions under licensed supervision.
• Maintain proficiency with the Nucleus system and ensure accurate dispensing and par-level management.
• Manage inventory by ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies to minimize waste.
• Maintain records for regulatory programs and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
• Assist in training new staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus workflows.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, supervisors, and representatives to support patient care.
