The role requires 7 years progressive experience, 2 years in management, SC pharmacist licensure, and BLS certification; onsite, with focus on patient care and collaboration with providers and payers.
Pharmacy manager position to join our infusion team to focus on Prior Authorization of infusion and clinic medications and entry of medication therapy plans in Epic. In this role, you will play a crucial part in oversight of a team of pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians, who will evaluate medication requests, ensuring adherence to guidelines, and facilitate the prior authorization process.
Onsite position.
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent. Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience. State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position. Must have active SC pharmacist licensure upon hire or within 90 days of hire. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
