Job summary

River's Edge Pharmacy, a leader in infusion therapy services, seeks a licensed California pharmacist for a part-time role. You will dispense medications per prescriptions, counsel patients on safe use, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, sterile compounding, reviewing IV therapies, and coordinating with providers.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree or equivalent required.
• California pharmacist license active and in good standing.
• Experience with specialty or infusion pharmacy preferred.
• Strong customer service and regulatory compliance mindset.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and oversee filling of prescriptions per provider orders.
• Provide expert counseling on safe use of prescription meds.
• Supervise technicians in compounding, packaging and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with policies, accreditation requirements and laws.
• Review IV therapies and monitor home care patients as needed.
• Communicate with providers, patients and staff to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Provide patient consultations and address inquiries about medications.
• Guide technicians to ensure accurate dispensing, labeling and storage.
• Assist workflow, assign tasks and maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
• Monitor receipt and organization of prescription medications.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs.
