Job summary

River’s Edge Pharmacy, a leader in infusion therapy, is seeking a Pharmacist to dispense medications, counsel patients, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves collaborating with infusion nurses and the clinical team to support IVIG, chemotherapy, and other therapies, while maintaining state requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a CA license, has infusion pharmacy experience, and brings excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• B.S. or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree.
• 2nd item text could be concise
• Active California pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior experience with Specialty or Infusion pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Dispense and oversee the filling of prescriptions to ensure accuracy.
• Provide patient consultations regarding safe use and storage of medications.
• Maintain IV room integrity and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist with prior authorizations and insurance coordination.
• Supervise technicians and ensure compliant pharmacy operations.
• Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
