Job summary

InfuCare Rx in Aston, PA seeks a Pharmacy Technician/Compounding Technician to support sterile and non-sterile compounding, dispensing, and patient-centered service under a licensed pharmacist. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with caregivers and prescribers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of compounding experience, an active PA technician registration, and strong detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Pharmacy technician in a compounding pharmacy.
• IV tech certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to compound, prepare and dispense medications with accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dose.
• Maintain sterile and non-sterile compounding practices.
• Dispense products and generate delivery documents.
• Ensure pharmacist on duty checks prescriptions prior to delivery.
• Record and maintain pharmacy logs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and ensure correct drug products from wholesaler.
• Verify accuracy of product orders and pricing.
• Maintain safety and quality assurance practices.
• Adhere to state and federal regulations.
