Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Pharmacist to fill and dispense prescription orders in accordance with Pennsylvania law and LVHN standards. You will review orders, consult with patients and providers, supervise technical staff, and maintain inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in pharmacy required.
• PA Driver's License required upon hire.
• Registered Pharmacist with the State of Pennsylvania upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dispensing of prescription orders in line with PA law and LVHN standards.
• Reviews medication orders for appropriateness and consults with patients and providers.
• Supervises technical staff and maintains adequate medication inventory.
• Coordinates with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, case managers on treatment options.
• Ensures patient education and counseling are documented as required.
