Job summary

UC Health is seeking a Clinical Staff Pharmacist in the infusion pharmacy at the Barrett Cancer Center/Blood Cancer Healing Center in Kentucky. The role involves preparing and dispensing medications, interpreting orders, and overseeing staff in oncology infusion therapies.

A sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 is offered. Requires a BS in Pharmacy; PharmD preferred and Ohio licensure eligibility with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college; PharmD preferred.
• Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Ohio; ACLS preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience; PGY1 residency preferred.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and exercise sound professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to policies.
• Interprets verbal and written orders and transcribes to patient profiles.
• Maintains accurate medication profiles and prepares sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations safely.
• Ensures safe, cost-effective therapies and contributes to department operations.
• Supports pharmacokinetics consultations and dosing per protocol.
