Qualifikationen

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state working.
• Solid drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge.
• Knowledgeable in infusion therapy with ability to handle complex orders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Proven ability to fill medication orders accurately and timely.
• Flexible schedule (8-hour shifts 7am–7pm weekdays with rotating weekends) and rotate on call as needed.
• Permanent residence within a commutable distance to the branch.

Aufgaben

• Dispense unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Compound medications using appropriate components in a sterile environment.
• Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders with patient education materials.
• Perform drug ordering and inventory duties and monitor/ calibrate pharmacy equipment.
• Review medication orders for completeness and appropriateness for age group served.
• Verify prescriptions not directly received from prescriber or physician's agent.
• Provide oversight of the safety and effectiveness of pharmaceutical care for patients.
