Job summary

Compass Oncology is seeking a part-time Infusion RN at the East Cancer Center in Clackamas, OR. You will provide infusion therapies, perform venipuncture, and collaborate with doctors and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

IV skills are crucial and oncology experience is a plus. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and supporting care continuity while maintaining safety standards and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state.
  • Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy provider card, preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Must maintain continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
  • Assesses health status by interviewing patient and medical history.
  • Administers therapy under physician supervision and manages medications/blood products.
  • Maintains accurate documentation of patient care and treatments.
  • Assists and collaborates with interdisciplinary team and coordinates services.
  • Manages patient medication refill requests and patient flow.
  • Adheres to OSHA guidelines and disinfection protocols.
