Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for direct patient care in the Medical Oncology unit.

The role involves administering chemotherapy infusions, patient education, and close monitoring of treatment responses under established nursing standards. The successful candidate will have an Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing and hold current RN licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN Licensure in Missouri and/or Illinois per Compact Act.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from AHA/Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and education as part of oncology treatment.
• Administers medications and monitors patient status per nursing standards.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
